PREMIERE CONCERTS OF THE ACADEMIC SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA OF TERNOPIL REGIONAL PHILHARMONIC AS A SOURCE OF CREATIVE INSPIRATION FOR THE CITY'S MUSIC COMMUNITY
Abstract
Aim of this article to highlight the musical and socio-cultural aspects of the landmark premiere concerts of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic (based on instrumental concerts by Viktor Kosenko, Yevhen Stankovych, and Myroslav Skoryk) and to reveal their significance for the development of the city's musical community. Research methodology. The study of the premiere performance of musical works is based on an interdisciplinary methodology that combines musicology, music practice, music history, and cultural studies (theoretical works by O. Pyliatyuk, O. Dragan, O. Katrych, L. Oparyk, S. Savenka).
The results. The article highlights the musical and socio-cultural aspects of the premiere concerts of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic (based on the material of musical works: «Concerto for Violin and Orchestra» by Viktor Kosenko, «Concerto No. 4 for Violin and Orchestra» by Yevhen Stankovych, «Oboe Concerto» by Myroslav Skoryk) and their significance for the development of the city's musical community is revealed.
Novelty. For the first time in theoretical musicology, the premiere concerts of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic are considered as a source of creative inspiration for the city's musical community.
Practical significance. The premiere concerts of the symphony orchestra offer the city's musical community a unique opportunity to hear new works, which allows expanding the horizons of the musical life of a certain sociocultural
environment and promoting contemporary orchestral music as one of the highest forms of performing arts. Therefore, concerts of this kind stimulate creativity and innovation in the musical sphere, promote the development of
orchestral genres and play an important role in enriching musical culture.
