ROCK CULTURE OF IVANO-FRANKIVSK IN PRINTED SOURCES OF THE 1980 s

Abstract

The printed sources (official press and samizdat) that confirm the existence in the 1980s in Ivano-Frankivsk of a powerful layer of alternative culture, in which rock culture has occupied one of the leading places and was an important tool for motivating public consciousness are analysed in the article. Self-identification, socio-cultural directions of rock club work, peculiarities of language issue, innovative activity are investigated.
