CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC PRACTICES OF PRESERVATION CULTURAL MEMORY OF KVITKA CISYK

Abstract

The purpose of the research. Understanding the concept of «cultural memory», analyze the cultural and artistic practices of preserving the cultural memory of of Kvitka Cisyk, and reveal their potential in the cultural processes of today.
Research methodology. Research methods are determined by providing a complex interdisciplinary study of cultural memory and cultural and artistic practices of preserving the memory of Kvitka Сisyk. This requires a combination of general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization) and special methods integrated with cultural studies, art studies and history.
Novelty. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time cultural and artistic practices in the context of preserving the cultural memory of Kvitka Cisyk were discovered and analyzed through the representation of her creative achievements and song heritage.
Conclusions. Preservation of the cultural memory of Kvitka Cisyk in the form of representations of her creative heritage ensures a strong connection between generations, overcomes contradictions between the past and the present. Thus, the activity of cultural and artistic practices in the context of preserving the cultural memory of the outstanding American singer of Ukrainian origin, Kvitka Cisyk, was illustrated. We believe that the support and implementation of such cultural and artistic projects of memory in the cultural space of Ukraine is especially relevant in the conditions of a full-scale Russian invasion, when the current enemy is purposefully destroying our spirituality, our history and cultural heritage.
