Abstract

The article from the perspective of art history examines in detail the significance of basic choreographic
exercises for the preparation of sports programs for ice dancers. Classes choreography performers of sports dance on ice contribute to proper elevation, form a leap, educate them in artistry, grace, endowed with cantille movements. The means and methods of the school of classical training contribute to the aesthetic education of athletes, the formation of their motor skills, allowing them to create an aesthetically attractive, artistically rich performance.
