MEDIA ART AS A TREND OF MODERN AUDIOVISUAL CULTURE

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the main features and directions of the art of modern audiovisual culture, determined by the development of social media.
Research methodology. The article uses a number of general scientific and special research methods integrated from cultural studies, art history, medieval studies. Such a methodological combination made it possible to analyze modern media art as anintegral component of modern audiovisual culture, the formation of which was influenced by the development of Internet technologies, in particular, social media.
The scientific novelty consists in substantiating the interdependence of modern art and the development of social media.
The practical significance.
