IMMERSIVE MUSIC AS A PHENOMENON OF MODERN CULTURE

Abstract

The aim of this article. The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of the development of immersive music in modern culture and to analyze the use of immersive approaches and technologies in musical performance. Research methodology. The method of analysis and synthesis, the typological method, the method of structural and functional analysis was applied, which contributed to the identification of the peculiarities of immersive music in modern culture. Novelty.
Immersiveness in the context of modern musical culture is studied. The means of creating an immersive sound environment during concert performances (vocal and instrumental performance) were analyzed. The peculiarities of the influence of immersive technologies on the creation of a unique environment, which provides the opportunity to get a new musical
experience, have been revealed. Results. In recent years, thanks to the rapid development of information technologies and the concept of immersiveness in musical culture, a new stage of development has begun, related to the creation of a unique immersive environment for listeners, which provides opportunities and conditions for complete immersion in a musical work. In the context of the specifics of musical culture, one can talk about immersiveness in several aspects: in the aspect of immersive sound, the means of creation of which are immersive technologies (virtual, augmented and mixed reality) and in the aspect of immersive sound, which is achieved due to the appropriate manner of performance. Despite the obvious difference, their goal is to create a direct transfer of experience and immerse the listener in a unique musical space.
In our opinion, the use of immersive approaches and technologies in modern music performance opens up huge
opportunities for the evolution of artistic and creative practice and socio-cultural activities of professional performers,
as well as the popularization of classical music among representatives of the younger generation.
