SOCIO-CULTURAL CONTEXT OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE KYIV YOUTH THEATER

Abstract

The purpose of the work is research, analysis and generalization of the main sociocultural factors influencing the formation of the Kyiv Youth Theater in 1970-1980. The research methodology is based on the use of the following methods: analytical, cultural, historical, source studies. The scientific novelty of the study consists in a comprehensive study and
generalization of the main socio-cultural factors that influenced the formation of the Kyiv Youth Theater. Conclusions. The processes of formation of the Youth Theater were based on socio-political principles, so they are closely related to such
phenomena as: «unification», «period of stagnation», political repression, totalitarianism, propaganda.
