ACTUALIZATION OF THE HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE ARMENIAN DIASPORA IN UKRAINE: THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS

Abstract

There are identified the main problems in the field of preserving the historical and cultural heritage of the Armenians in Ukraine and ways to solve it. It is proved that the main problems are connected with insufficient study of this segment of culture, lack of funds for the repair and conservation of immovable and movable heritage, as well as non-observance of the legal requirements to preserve the historical interior of Armenian buildings when it are transferred to other communities. It is shown that the culture of the Armenian diaspora is an important component of the cultural field of Ukraine, and therefore requires its active study, preservation and updating. The problem of preserving this great cultural stratum is complex, and its solution depends on the coordinated actions of specialists in the field of Armenian culture, corresponding state structures and representatives of the Armenian diaspora.
