The aim of this paper is a culturological analysis of the media-information aspect of Ukraine's cultural policy in wartime. Accordingly, the main content areas of the study include a rethinking of the strategic priorities of state cultural policy during the period of full-scale Russian invasion, with an emphasis on the cultural-informational factor, and an examination of the specific features of implementing these priority tasks at both the national and regional levels.
Research methodology. The study employs a systemic approach to analyzing the current state of Ukrainian culture, a structural-functional method to examine the key priorities of cultural policy, and a case-study method to investigate and systematize media-informational content.
Results. It is substantiated that in wartime, the media-information factor becomes one of the priorities in the process of developing and implementing Ukraine's cultural policy at the international, national and regional levels. It is of strategic importance for the state security system, for the formation of a positive image of Ukraine in the global media space, the preservation and updating of cultural heritage through digitization. This, in turn, contributes to strengthening Ukrainian identity, resilience, and social cohesion, as well as enhancing media literacy and the ability to counter hostile propaganda.
Novelty. For the first time, the priorities of Ukraine’s cultural-informational policy under conditions of full-scale russian aggression become the subject of cultural analysis, and the challenges associated with their development and implementation at the national and regional levels are reconsidered.
The practical significance. The study formulates practical recommendations for coordinating the efforts of the public cultural sector and state institutions, creating a unified informational register that reflects their main areas of activity, and developing an informational portal to ensure open access to digitized cultural objects.
