types and techniques used by the artist in painting the vaults of a number of churches in Eastern Galicia in the second
half of the 18 th century.
Research methodology. This study is based on art history methods of formal, stylistic and comparative analysis,
as well as general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis.
Results of the research. The results of this analysis will allow future in-depth research into the origins and
evolution of the artist's style in the context of 17th-18th century European art traditions, by comparing the results of this
study with the results of a formal analysis of the composition of European art samples from the same period.
The scientific novelty of the study. Galicia in the second half of the 18 th century.
Practical meaning. These results can be used in further research into Stanislav Stroinsky's works. The research
can also be used as lecture material, which will expand the factual basis for teaching art disciplines in art institutions.
