UNIVERSALISM OF THE CREATIVE PERSONALITY OF MYKOLA HUBCHUK

Abstract

The proposed article conducts a cultural study of the universalism of the creative personality of Mykola Gubchuk, a Ukrainian opera and chamber singer, artistic director of the Oleksandr Kozarenko Kolomyia Philharmonic, volunteer, active participant and initiator of social change.
The purpose of the article is a comprehensive coverage of the multifaceted activities of Mykola Gubchuk, which combines artistic, organizational, volunteer and social dimensions.
Research methodology. The work uses an interdisciplinary methodology that combines cultural analysis, biographical description, elements of comparative analysis, as well as an author's semi-structured interview.
Results. Mykola Gubchuk's performing activity as an opera singer is evidenced by his performances on the opera stages of Ukraine and Europe. His managerial activity was manifested in the organization of the Kolomyia Philharmonic named after Oleksandr Kozarenko. M. Gubchuk9s public activity unfolded during the Russian-Ukrainian war as a volunteer.
The singer9s concert activities are currently taking place abroad in order to draw attention to Ukraine and its fight against the enemy. Considerable attention is paid to the role of Mykola Gubchuk as an agent of cultural transformations during a difficult
period for the country, in particular during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. An example of a person capable of harmoniously combining personal creative realization with an active civic position and useful social activities is given.
Novelty. The scientific novelty lies in understanding the role of Mykola Gubchuk not only as a performer, but as a bearer of humanistic ideas, a cultural diplomat who promotes the integration of Ukrainian art, and a driver of innovative changes in society.
The practical significance. The universal activity of Mykola Gubchuk is an example for practical implementation by other heads of philharmonic institutions of Ukraine. Attention is drawn to the social significance of artists capable of showing signs of active universalism, and a vector for further research into the activities of Mykola Gubchuk, as well as other universal artists of Ukraine, is given.
