PECULIARITIES OF NOVEL DIRECTING TECHNOLOGIES IN CONTEMPORARY POP ART

Abstract

The article deals with the process of usage of directing techniques in modern variety shows in Ukraine. Specific features of these techniques as well as their growth dynamics are carefully studied. The article claims that modern variety art primarily focuses on the search for an artistic image of the shows by means of combing two spaces, virtual and actual. Directing performances using 3D and LED-technologies, and video mapping are described. It has been found out that the competencies of the beginning of the XXI century are aimed at creating new methods of impact on a viewer and new forms of variety shows, increasing the usage of the latest means of expressiveness, and the change of technologies.
