TO THE DEFINITION OF THE CONCEPT «MUSICAL DESIGN» IN PERFORMATIVE ARTS

Abstract

In this article the situation regarding the expansion of the sphere of performing arts in modern cultural space is described. The role of musical accompaniment in spectacular (performative) art forms is considered. The necessity to provide long-term aesthetic interest of the public within the framework of the spectacular project by means of musical art as the most accessible for perception is determined. The substantiateddifference between the concepts of sound design and musical. The components of the concept of design are described in accordance with the musical accompaniment of the present «Living Art». The definition of «musical design» is given. The highlighted essence of musical design in the art practice of performing arts.
