UKRAINIAN SOUND INDUSTRY AND SOUND PRODUCTION IN THE CONTEXT OF MUSICAL ART
Abstract
The purpose of the study to analyse the musical art of Ukraine in the context of sound production and the sound industry and to explore European integration processes in the creative industries, including the music industry.
Research methodology. The following methods were used in the article: theoretical – analysis of studies by foreign authors and available information sources, empirical – systematisation of own practical experience and analysis of the work of contemporary Ukrainian musicologists and sound producers.
The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time in the musicological research space, the musical art is analysed through the prism of sound production and the formation of the sound industry in Ukraine, as well as the interaction of sound producers and music specialists.
Conclusions. Ukrainian musical art in the context of sound production is poorly studied, as the sound industry in Ukraine is at the initial stage of its formation. The sound industry and the music industry are not identical concepts, but constitute separate vectors of the creative industries. In music, sound producers become part of a team and perform
creative, psychological, technical and economic functions. The interaction between music industry professionals and sound producers ensures more efficient implementation of music projects.
