FASHION AS A LITERARY: BEFORE THE POSITATION OF THE QUESTION

Abstract

The publication traces the relationship of the phenomenon of the spectacle with modern fashion shows. The
attention is paid to the need for a comprehensive study of fashion as a phenomenon of modern spectacle culture, its specificity and connection with the main socio-cultural, artistic-aesthetic and technological and innovative inquiries.
The concept of a defile as a kind of theatrical action is analyzed. It is noted that modern fashion shows are an example of successful visual and auditory artistic synthesis.
