PRESERVATION OF NATIONAL TRADITIONS IN THE CREATIVE ACTIVITY OF ART GROUPS OF ETHNIC COMMUNITIES OF KYEV

Abstract

The article is devoted to creative activity of artistic groups of ethnic communities of the city of Kyiv.
Representatives of national-cultural communities pay great attention to the preservation and development of national traditional art. By carefully preserving the best examples of folk art and folklore, the repertoire of artistic groups is enriched with new works and modern interpretations of folk songs and traditional dances, using the new vocabulary of movements and compositional techniques. The arts of folk dance show the admirers of ethnic culture the best artistic collectives of ethnic communities of Kyiv.
