Abstract

The relevance of the problem lies in considering animation as a unique cultural phenomenon, its influence on the formation of national cultural identity, and revealing the artistic realization of Ukrainian creators in this genre. Such an in-depth approach to understanding animation as a cultural product allows highlighting its unique features, interaction with other spheres of culture and art, as well as development prospects in the environment of modern society.
The methodology of scientific search involved the use of various methods, including the method of historical reconstruction, which made it possible to identify the specifics of film production; culturological method, which provided an opportunity to find out the essence of animation and its role in the creation of a cultural product; the method of analysis and synthesis, which made it possible to obtain the current result. Furthermore, well-known and new currents in world animation have been analysed, the influence of the social and cultural context on artistic practice has been studied, and public reaction and interaction with the audience have been investigated. In general, the methodology is based on a systematic and in-depth study of the chosen topic, the analysis of various sources and the study of issues that arise during the study of animation in the context of the cultural practice of Ukraine.
The scientific novelty lies in the study of animation as a specific cultural product in the artistic practice of Ukraine. The paper covers various aspects of animation, including historical development, cultural influences, social and cultural context, etc. The weight of the article lies in revealing the unique features of Ukrainian animation, which arise under the influence of cultural, economic, and political factors.
The practical significance of the paper points to the role of Ukrainian animation in cultural exchange, emphasizing how it can serve as a tool for spreading Ukrainian culture and traditions abroad. This can be of practical significance for the Ukrainian international community and can contribute to attracting attention to Ukrainian culture through animated works, which is especially important in today's globalized world.
