THE FOREIGN CONCERT ACTIVITY OF SINGERS FROM BEREZHANY DISTRICT OF TERNOPIL REGION AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION IN DEVELOPMING OF UKRAINIAN MUSIC CULTURE

Abstract

This paper presents the review of publications, that refer to singers of Berezhany region. The author systematizes the information about the creative activity of singers, who were born or lived, studied or worked in Berezhany district since 2 nd half of XIX century, considers their role in the music space overseas, characterizes their contribution in the popularization of Ukrainian music song culture abroad, detects and corrects errors in their biographical data. The article also investigates the activity of singers information about which is absent in the scientific publications or are mentioned only the surnames, there is elucidated their role in the promoting vocal art outside Ukraine.
