Abstract

This article is devoted to the extraordinary exploration of chamber-vocal compositions based on the poetic texts of Lesya Ukrainka, whose creative interpretation today acquires special significance as an adept of modern visions of the world, grounded in mythopoetic conceptions of Ukrainians. Such a framing of the issue promises to be highly promising in terms of
investigating the conceptual sphere of Ukrainian academic song as a whole, encompassing numerous configurations of the intonational image of the world, serving as a «gemstone» of Ukrainian national musical expression. In general, this signifies that the exploration of Ukrainian chamber-vocal music, despite its genre and stylistic diversity, as well as the diversity of
individual compositional interpretations of poetic texts, will achieve the most thorough and cohesive elucidation of the subject of ethnonational identity in musical creation within the realm of vocal music, where academic song holds an extremely important and even leading role. The study aims to identify modern world visions in the poetry of Lesya Ukrainka and their embodiment in examples of chamber-vocal works by Ukrainian composers.
Methodology. The discussed issue is examined based on cultural and literary studies inquiries into Lesya Ukrainka‘s authorial spectrum as an unparalleled Ukrainian poetess within the framework of adapting modern artistic trends. In this process, hermeneutic analysis algorithms are purposefully employed – a cutting-edge research practice that pertains to both comprehending the meaning and semantic values as certain «signs» of Cultural Text, as well as methods of interpreting its ontological and epistemological (knowledge-related) dimensions within the context of the concept of «conceptual sphere». The scientific novelty of the proposed research lies in addressing the hermeneutic reception of Lesya Ukrainka‘s poetic texts as an adept of modern Ukrainian style and their musical transformation in Ukrainian chamber-vocal creation as a specific semantic element.
Conclusions. It has been observed and demonstrated that the musical transformation of Lesya Ukrainka‘s poetry holds significant importance, where adherence to her distinctive artistic-stylistic status as an adept of Ukrainian modernism, intertwined with visions of mythological consciousness as a tradition of existence, plays a substantial role.
