THE FESTIVAL AND COMPETITION MOVEMENT AS A FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF GUITAR CULTURE IN UKRAINE IN THE LATE TWENTIETH AND EARLY TWENTY-FIRST CENTURIES

Abstract

The article examines the guitar festival-competition movement of the late 20 th and early 21 st centuries and the influence of foreign experience on the development of such concert formats in Ukraine. An overview of international and all-Ukrainian events and formats was carried out. The significance of such measures for the development of the cultural heritage of our state is outlined. The current state of the festival-competition movement in Ukraine is highlighted, taking into account the complex present. It is noted that the process of changing the format of events is underway. Modern trends in the development of guitar practice are highlighted (remote nature of festivals and competitions, etc.). Information about the contribution of domestic artists is provided. It has been proven that the festival-competition movement helps in solving the problems of intercultural communication, exchange of experiences,
emphasizing the preservation of spiritual values.
