MANAGEMENT CULTURE FROM THE MIDDLE AGES TO INDUSTRIALISM UNDER THE PRISM OF ECONOMIC SCHOOLS

Abstract

It has been given the peculiarities of management culture in the period of the decay of feudalism and the formation of market structure. It was established that in that period there was the emergence of mercantilistic, physiocratism and liberal cultures of management. Mercantilistic culture focuses on trade and the mechanism of accumulation of wealth finds a trade surplus. Fisiocritici concentrates on the production and source of wealth considers land and labour. Liberal management culture as the basis of life recognises the production of commodities, and a source of wealth and industrial capital. The author sees society as a collection of individuals who are competing with each other in the creation of wealth.
