Abstract

The paperdeals with an issue of developing a catalogue of archaeological musical instruments and musical and iconographic sources of the Middle Ages, found in Ukraine. This catalogue development is extremely necessary to reflect the objective presentation of the musical instruments development in Ancient Ukraine in terms of musical and instrumental culture of the ancient European Slavic world.
