GENESIS OF PUBLIC NUTRITION AS A SOCIO-CULTURAL PHENOMENON
Abstract
The sources of the emergence and formation of public catering as a phenomenon of social culture, which simultaneously affects and is influenced by the cultural and social aspects of society, are investigated. The role of the components of public catering as factors of influence on the transformation processes of the sociocultural space is considered in retrospect, through the prism of the conditions of a particular historical era.
On the basis of historical and cultural analysis, public catering is shown as a specific sociocultural phenomenon that represents a culinary culture, playing the role of human life support and a food consumption culture, contributing to the strengthening of social ties, the formation of ethical standards and the adoption of moral values.
