THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUMS AND RESERVES WITHIN THE CULTURAL SPACE OF UKRAINE: LEISURE CONTEXT

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of identifying the archaeological museums and reserves as a special phenomenon within the cultural space of Ukraine. Only contemporary museums and reserves are studying. The author puts forward a number of criterions which may be used to determine the archaeological profile museums and reserves. Particular attention is given to studying leisure practices at archaeological museums and reserves. The author comes to conclusions that the structural and legal status of archaeological museum or reserve has a major impact on the leisure practices variety. It is determined that the leisure practices which closely connected with the archaeology are prevailing while the leisure practices which not connected with archaeology are fixed on isolated causes.
