THE PHENOMENOLOGICAL ESSENCE OF THEATRICAL MAKE-UP AS A COMPLEX STRUCTURAL-FUNCTIONAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The make-up is studied as an independent fact of art, having a symbolic nature and a number of semantic functions; the meaning of make-up in the theater structure is comprehended as facilitating the transmission of artistic information at a refined level, with feelings, which allows the viewer to be not just involved in the narrated story, but creates the necessary «immersion» in the atmosphere of stage action; the phenomenological essence of make-up is determined as a complex structural and functional formation.
