Abstract

It is about artistic universalism as the absolute dimension of art outside of time and space, which is inspired by the idea of Neo-Platonism as the primacy of spirit over matter, explicated in the book «Aesthetics of the Renaissance» by A. Losev. Appeal to the reflection of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Durer, avant-garde peace-building ideas of V. Kandinsky and others, leads to the definition of the deep-shaping attitudes in art that are associated with the absolute.
The identity of the «I» of the artist and the Absolute is equivalent for all artists; this is the self-contained integrity of the connection between the «I» and the Absolute, which is realized by both Renaissance and avant-garde artists.
