This article examines the integration of folk influences into the music of Georg Philipp Telemann within the
context of Baroque compositions. Telemann’s work, which combines local traditions with European styles, is presented
as an early example of musical globalization, highlighting the relevance of his creative method for understanding 18 thcentury cultural dynamics. Employing comparative and structural-functional analysis, the study investigates the
mechanisms of adapting folk rhythmic vitality and modal characteristics into complex Baroque forms. Particular
attention is paid to chamber and solo instrumental genres, specifically the «Polish Concertos» (TWV 43), «Tafelmusik»
(TWV 55), and «Fantasias for Solo Flute» (TWV 40). The research identifies the specific ways Telemann blended
various regional folk idioms and national styles with Baroque aesthetic principles, positioning him as a pioneer in
bridging the gap between local folklore and art music. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the
evolution of European musical culture and offer valuable insights for performers and researchers interested in the
historical synthesis of genres
