THE INFLUENCE OF THE RENAISSANCE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF EUROPEAN MUSIC

Each era leaves a deep mark on the processes of artistic evolution. The study is devoted to the problems of the development of musical art in the socio-cultural context of the European space of the Renaissance. The research methodology involved a comprehensive methodological approach, including historical, analytical, musicological, inductive and other scientific methods. The article deals with the main humanistic aspirations and key trends in the aspects of anthropocentrism, harmonious personality development, aesthetic worldview, revival of the traditional foundations of ancient culture, which were characteristic of the Renaissance and became decisive in the development of the musical art of Europe during this period. The specifics of the musical and educational process in European educational institutions are determined, where the main regularities of the educational process are systematized.
The vector of influence of the most prominent European musicians on the position of the Renaissance music education system is generalized. Particular attention is paid to the significant role of the musical and pedagogical concepts of Jan Amos Comenius, Josepho Zarlino, Mykola Dyletsky, and a number of other scholars. Information on individual music and pedagogical treatises is presented. Emphasis is placed on the intensification of intercultural interaction during the Renaissance, the active exchange of experience between artists and music teachers during their travels in Europe.
The significance of the influence of socio-cultural, historical, political, religious and other factors on the development of musical culture during the Renaissance is substantiated. The specifics of the development of Ukrainian musical culture as a component of the European space during the Renaissance are considered. It is proved that the key stylistic reference point of the studied period was the Renaissance-Baroque type of Ukrainian musical art.
