Abstract

The significant factual material analyzes the specificity of the formation of structural-figurative and symbolic
features of the choreographic vocabulary of Ukrainian folk dance. The specificity of regional cultural practice is
emphasized; the essence of dance in the structure of the spiritual culture of the Ukrainian people is revealed. The first scientific and methodological works on this area, prepared by regional researchers-practitioners, are considered.
