Open-Access Statement

The journal Ukrainian culture: the past, modern ways of development operates under the principles of open access, ensuring free and unrestricted access to all its content for readers and institutions. No open access fees are charged.

Access Rights
All articles published in open access format remain permanently available for reading, downloading, copying, and distribution.

User Rights
Reuse of materials by third parties is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, which permits users to copy, adapt, extract, and build upon the articles, as well as use them for commercial purposes. Proper attribution must be provided, including a citation of the official publication via its DOI, a link to the license, an indication of any changes made, and a disclaimer that the licensor does not endorse the use of the work.

Author Rights
Authors retain copyright and the right to further scholarly use of their work. The journal Ukrainian culture: the past, modern ways of development obtains the right to publish and distribute the materials.
Full-text access to academic articles is available in the "Archive" section, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative's definition of open access.

Full-text access to published articles is available on the official website of the journal in the "Archives" section and on the "Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine" platform of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine of the NAS of Ukraine.

Electronic backup and preservation of access to the journal content is carried out using the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system.

Licensing and Open Access Policy

The licensing policy of the collection is compatible with the vast majority of open access and self-archiving policies. The Editorial Board supports the recommendations of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), as well as the UNESCO Recommendations on Open Access, and strives to implement them within its publishing activities.
