FOLK SONG CULTURE AS A PHENOMENON OF CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to outline folk song culture as a musical phenomenon in the context of culturological analysis, to identify its structural components, historical stages of formation and transformations, as well as its role in preserving ethnic identity through musical forms of expression.
The methodology for studying folk song culture as a phenomenon of cultural knowledge is based on structuralfunctional, system-analytical, descriptive and comparative approaches, which provide a holistic understanding of folk song as a carrier of cultural memory and spiritual values of society.
Results. In the process of studying folk song culture, it was established that it is a unique phenomenon that integrates musical, verbal, ritual, symbolic and mental components, forming a multidimensional system of ethnocultural existence. Folk song culture acts not only as a form of artistic self-expression of the people, but also as a mechanism for preserving and transmitting historical memory, spiritual values, ethical norms and models of world perception. It is an important factor in the formation of national identity, contributing to the awareness of belonging to the community and the preservation of cultural heritage.
The novelty of the study lies in the culturological analysis of folk song culture as a factor in the formation of the national identity of Ukrainians.
The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using its results to preserve and popularize Ukrainian folk song culture in the modern cultural space. The research materials can be implemented in curricula in cultural studies, folklore, contributing to the formation of national identity and cultural self-awareness.
