FEATURES OF OLEG SEMENOVYCH TYMOSHENKO'S ARTISTIC MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the features of O. Tymoshenko's conceptual management in the context of the development of the Kyiv Conservatory. The research methodology covered such scientific research methods as cultural, historical-comparative, and generalization methods.
The scientific novelty of this research is that the article analyzes significance of the figure of Oleg Tymoshenko as an effective and unique rector-manager of a higher educational musical institution.
Conclusions. Despite the difficult management challenges, thanks to the initiative and determination of the rector, the continuous functioning of the Opera Studio of the Kyiv Conservatory was ensured, which continues to play an important role in shaping the cultural space of higher art education. The expansion of its repertoire in cooperation with theater institutions became an example of the successful implementation of a cultural strategy that combines the preservation of traditions with the modernization of the national artistic environment. Thanks to such activities, rector established himself as a cultural leader, whose role became decisive for strengthening Ukrainian identity in a period of profound social changes and challenges.
