THE MYTHOLOGICAL DIMENSION OF CULTURE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE METAMODERN WORLDVIEW
Abstract
The study is devoted to the understanding of mythological reconstruction within the metamodern culture as a manifestation of the worldview of modern, which is characterized by an oscillation between the values of modern and their leveling by postmodern. The restoration of the mythological mode of culture is based on the transformation of the romantic concept of bi-worldness, which, unlike its traditional function of strengthening the contradiction between the ideal and the real, in the age of metamodernity performs an integrative function of all aspects of worldview oscillations. It is shown that the myth, occupying a middle position, contributes to the restoration of the metanarrative of modern (the Great Wholeness) as a dynamism of the Proto-synthesis based on the principle of holarchy, anthropological atopy and a heterophenomenological approach integrating intrо- and inter-cultural communications, based on the affirmation of universal human values.
