PRINCIPLES OF MASTERING THE PERFORMING UNIVERSALISM OF A MODERN TRUMPETER IN THE CONTEXT OF USING DEVICES AND INSTRUMENTS

Keywords: trumpet art, universal abilities, simulator devices, and instruments.

Abstract

This paper investigates the expediency of introducing various training equipment into trumpet practice throughout the history of performance. The scientific works and inventions that are the most effective for acquiring the versatile performance skills of a trumpeter on the way to universality are highlighted. The author has highlighted the main skills of performing technique, the development of which will determine the ability to adapt to the performance of academic and pop-jazz repertoire. The disadvantages and advantages of devices and instruments are considered, which will help performers to orient themselves when selecting the necessary equipment. The modern electronic-mechanical simulator-analyzer of performing exhalation, invented and patented by the author of the paper is presented, which helps performers to achieve high-quality aerodynamic results and flexibility of exhalation pressure gradation.
The purpose of this paper is to highlight the effective concept of implementing and using tools, instruments, and devices when training trumpet performers who are trying to achieve a wide professional specialization and master the universal abilities to perform academic and pop-jazz music.
Research methodology. The paper has considered a list of scientific publications that dealt with the use of devices and instruments by wind instrument performers throughout the history of performance. As a result of the search, useful patent documentation was found, which was the result of inventive work on improving the performance skills of
trumpet technology by many authors.
Results. The author has highlighted a number of tools, devices, and instruments that will help modern trumpeters to develop various performance skills effectively and comprehensively on the way to universalism. The advantages and disadvantages of training equipment have been considered, as well as the benefits and effectiveness of using these tools
when acquiring a wide professional specialization of a trumpet performer have been highlighted. The importance of parallel mastery of academic and pop-jazz specifics in the education of a modern trumpeter is emphasized since this will expand his/her performance capabilities. The principles of acquisition and development of fundamental skills have been proposed to expand specialization and achieve universality, including the development of performing breathing,
embouchure muscles, intonation, and timbre of sound.
Novelty. The methods of effectively mastering the fundamental skills of a trumpeter using special equipment aimed at developing the universal qualities of a performer have been highlighted for the first time. Among the list of multifunctional devices, it is proposed to use the invention patented by the author of the paper, a simulator-analyzer of the trumpeter's performing exhalation.
Practical value. The information in this paper can contribute to the education of trumpeters with a wide profile of specialization, who will be able to master academic and pop-jazz specifics and achieve universal performance abilities as a result.
