ON THE FORMATION OF THE CREATIVE PROFESSION OF SOUND ENGINEER IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The proposed article is dedicated to the research on the formation of sound engineering and the activities of a sound engineer in the Ukrainian cultural space. Based on the study of archival materials, resolutions, and regulations, the general tendencies, and the basis of the origin of this profession are outlined, and the aesthetic principles in the formation of sound directing in Ukraine are specified. The periodization and the main stages of formation of the evolution of the sound component, which influenced the development of both musical art and cultural and artistic processes of the late 19th century, during the 20th, and in the early 21st century, are proposed.

The scientific task of the article is to substantiate the concept of the profession of a sound engineer as a cultural and artistic phenomenon of the second half of the 20th – early 21st century; the issue of interaction of technology and art in the culture of the 20th century is revealed in the publication; the close interrelation of technical-technological and artistic components in art culture is emphasized, several directions in the art are pointed out, the emergence of which is inspired by scientific and technological progress.
