REPRESENTATION OF THE IMAGE OF THE STATE IN SPORTS AND ARTISTIC EVENTS OF UKRAINE IN TNE INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT OF THE XXI CENTURY
Abstract
The article analyzes the stage representation of the image of the state during sports and artistic events as a positive image component of international relations of the XXI century. The study is based on the events dedicated to the opening of sports stadiums, the show dedicated to the 75th anniversary of FC Shakhtar, the dance project «Maidans», the European Football Championship «UEFA Euro 2012».
The aim of the work is to represent the image of the state in sports and artistic events in Ukraine in the XXI century, dedicated to various sporting events of national and international orientation. The following methods are used in the article: the method of modeling cultural objects, comparative analysis, semiotic method, method of structural analysis and method of analysis of audiovisual sources.
Results. The image of the state in Ukrainian sports and artistic events is based on two fundamental levels – a show of the historical and cultural heritage and the present in the context of national and cultural identity. The peculiarity of the mythological worldview of Ukrainians and the country is represented through the mythopoetic consciousness, the basis of which is courage and heroism and love not only for a person, but also for the Motherland.
The representation of the geographical locations of Ukrainian sports and artistic events is revealed through a stage show of the uniqueness of the Ukrainian natural environment and human activity. The key events of the historical and cultural existence of Ukraine are represented through the display of legends about the founding of cities and the activities of prominent historical figures (statesmen, cultural and artistic personalities, as well as musicians).
The present in the context of national and cultural identity as an important element of state formation is represented in the context of respect for sports traditions and ideals, the image value of the state and national identity.
The mechanism of stage representation of the image of the state in Ukrainian sports and artistic events is the application of ideological principles in the artistic idea of the future spectacle, audiovisual series, and decoration with the use of expressive means, as well as plastic composition on the stage.
In the XXI century sports and artistic events occupy one of the leading places in the international communication space, where the image of the country occupies a prominent place. In Ukrainian sports and art practices there were sports and artistic events and their components not only at the regional and local level, but also at the national and European levels.
Such a positive situation shows the possibility of Ukrainian ideological moderators and the state to expand the sports and artistic borders of the state, cooperating in collaboration with artists and athletes of other countries.
Novelty. The components of the representation of the image of the state at the Ukrainian sports and art practices of the XXI century are singled out.
The practical significance. Theoretical provisions of the study of servants for in-depth cultural analysis of the subject of sports and artistic activities as a repeater of historical and cultural values in Ukraine in the XXI century.
