THE INTERPRETATION OF THE HERITAGE OF KRASNODVIR CASTLE – FROM THE RUINS TO THE FOOD THEATRE
Abstract
The purpose of the article is the research of the possibilities of cooperation of the public organisation and the local authorities of the town of Nadvirna (Ivano-Frankivsk region) and the volunteers for revitalization of the heritage of Krasnodvir Castle and sharing the experience of implementation of the new forms of cultural practice at the national and international levels.
Research methodology. The state of the scientific historical research of Krasnodvir Castle in Nadvirna has been considered. The legislative basis for preserving the cultural heritage within the administrative- territorial reform in Ukraine has been analysed. The steps have been characterized due to which the ruins of the earlier unknown medieval castle are gradually becoming a tourist attraction and they are creating the real prospects for economical and social development of the region. The examples of cooperation of the public organization and the local authorities on participation in grant programs and attraction of European funds for preserving the cultural heritage are shown.
The results. After a year of hard work and due to the cooperation of the public organisation «Nadvirna Tourist Information Centre» and the participants of Krasnodvir Castle Club and the local authorities as well as the not indifferent residents of Nadvirna Territorial Community the unknown neglected and abandoned ruins of the castle in the centre of Nadvirna have become a kind of a town brand. The food theatre of Krasnodvir Castle will become a unique cultural product which will generate the income that will be used for the further historical and archaeological research.
Novelty. The possibilities of cooperation of all the stakeholders in preserving and popularization of the degraded cultural heritage which has become a business card of a small town are presented for the fist time Prykarpattia.
The practical meaning. The experience that is shown in the article may be useful for public organisations, local authorities and for not indifferent residents of small towns and countryside in Ukraine.
