Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the value-based model of cultural transformations in Ukraine and to examine
the specific features of the representation of axiological changes in the dance activity of the Veryovka Choir.
Research methodology. The study employs a comprehensive approach, including the cultural method, the method of
historical-system analysis, the comparative method, and the method of generalization, which made it possible to consider
cultural transformations in their axiological dimension and to identify the specifics of their artistic representation.
Results. The study identifies the key features of value transformations in Ukrainian culture during the period of
Independence under the influence of historical, political, and globalization factors. It is established that the dance activity of
the Veryovka Choir serves as an important mechanism for the transmission and reinterpretation of traditional cultural
meanings. The transformation of the functions and meanings of artistic images across different historical periods is traced, and
the role of the ensemble in the formation of national identity and intercultural communication is outlined.
Novelty. The novelty of the study lies in the application of a value-based approach to the analysis of cultural
transformations in Ukraine through the prism of the dance activity of the Veryovka Choir. For the first time, a
comprehensive interpretation of the choreographic practices of the ensemble as a form of representing axiological
changes in the contemporary cultural space is proposed. Practical significance. The results of the study may be used in
further research in cultural studies and art studies related to cultural transformations, national identity, and artistic practices.
The materials of the article contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of choreographic art in the formation of value
orientations in contemporary Ukrainian society.
