The aim of the article is to substantiate the role of directing practices as a form of organizing cultural recreation in the military environment and to determine their functional and structural features in the context of their influence on the psycho-emotional state and communicative interaction of military personnel.
Research methodology. The study is based on analytical, sociocultural and functional approaches, as well as observation, which made it possible to consider directing practices not only as a form of artistic organization, but also as a mechanism of socio-cultural and psychological influence.
Results. The article examines directing practices as a form of organizing cultural recreation in the military environment. Particular attention is paid to their role in shaping an integral cultural and recreational process aimed at restoring psycho-emotional resources, enhancing communicative interaction and strengthening cohesion among military personnel. The functional structure of directing practices, including organizational, communicative, emotionalregulatory, integrative and meaning-making dimensions, is analyzed. Special emphasis is placed on their structural components, such as dramaturgy, spatial and temporal organization, sound and visual elements, and participant involvement, the interaction of which forms a holistic experiential environment. The article also highlights practical models of implementing directing practices in military settings, including adaptive directing, immersive interaction and collective performative forms, which contribute to reducing emotional tension, improving interpersonal communication and strengthening group cohesion. Novelty. The study provides a cultural interpretation of directing practices as a system-forming factor in organizing cultural recreation in the military environment and proposes a model that integrates artistic, psychological and communicative components.
The practical significance. The proposed model can be applied in the practice of military units and used to improve cultural-recreational activities aimed at supporting the psycho-emotional state and cohesion of military personnel.
