A HEALTHY WAY OF LIFE AS A SOCIO-CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF SOCIETY

Relevance of the topic. The formation of a healthy lifestyle of an individual as a project of socio-cultural development of society in the modern world is on a par with the global problems of humanity, as a component of health care. The modern world strives for healthy longevity, which is a key element of the social and economic well-being of society. A healthy lifestyle is a determining factor in promoting physical and psychological health, and is a method of increasing the duration of an individual's active life. The attitude to health is formed from childhood, from the moment a person becomes aware of his own personality with rules, position, and social status. Therefore, it is important to promote at the socio-cultural level the promotion of a healthy lifestyle by an individual in the period of his formation and activity.
Research methodology. This article used theoretical research methods: induction and deduction; analysis and synthesis; classification; generalization; visual methods; among the empirical methods used: generalization of independent characteristics, analysis of documents and activity products, observation of personal experience.
The scientific novelty of the study is that considering a healthy lifestyle as a strategy of socio-cultural development, it is necessary to emphasize its system-forming role in the formation of social values. It is about the integration of three levels: Individual – the formation of self-awareness, physical and psychological culture of the individual. Social – creation of conditions for a healthy environment, development of public initiatives and social solidarity. Cultural – rethinking health as a category of meaning-making that determines the directions of cultural policy and educational strategy.
