the synthesis of legal and information cultures in the higher education system. The purpose of the study is to reveal the
essence of information and legal culture, determine the specifics of the relationship between legal and information
competencies in the digital educational environment, and outline the challenges facing higher education institutions.
The work uses an interdisciplinary approach that combines elements of philosophy of law, information theory,
pedagogy, and cultural studies, as well as analysis of regulatory and legal acts and global practices of legal culture
formation. The study shows that information and legal culture is a holistic worldview system that combines legal
awareness, information literacy, and digital security skills, and ensures lawful and responsible behavior of students and
teachers in the digital space. It has been established that only the synthesis of legal and information cultures makes it
