The purpose of the article is to outline the transformations and propose a functional-semantic classification of the competencies of a manager of the cultural and social development organization, taking into account the impact of modern technological changes in the field of culture.
The research methodology is based on an interdisciplinary approach that combines: content analysis of scientific publications, analytical reports and practical cases on the application of AI in the cultural sphere; a systematic approach to studying the role of AI as a factor that changes the institutional, managerial and communication environment of socio-cultural activity; functional-semantic analysis, which made it possible to classify competencies and structure them by content groups in accordance with the professional challenges of today.
The scientific novelty lies in the systematization of the professional competencies of a manager of socio cultural activity, taking into account the challenges arising from the introduction of artificial intelligence, according to the functional-semantic principle (five clusters of competencies).
Practical application of the research results. Modernization of educational programs for training managers of socio-cultural activities by including disciplines covering digital culture, AI ethics, generative technologies, algorithmic thinking, working with big data, and platform communication.
