The purpose of this article is to analyze the artistic practice of Myroslav Vaida through the prism of innovative approaches and expressive techniques within the context of contemporary art. Special attention is given to examining how the artist’s methodology models new forms of audience interaction with visual images. The study also explores the philosophical and aesthetic dimensions of his artworks, which function as visual narratives of modernity.
Research methodology. The research is based on a synthesis of phenomenological, hermeneutic, structuralsemiotic, and discourse-analytical methods. The study also incorporates comparative analysis and poststructuralist theories, including concepts of deconstruction and intertextuality, enabling the identification of deep connotations within Vaida’s work. This interdisciplinary approach allows a comprehensive understanding of the expressive and innovative aspects of his creative practice.
The novelty of this study lies in positioning Myroslav Vaida’s work as a postconceptual transgressive phenomenon that combines metaphysical reflection with experimental material techniques. The research offers a multidimensional interpretation of Vaida’s installation and performative art as manifestations of aesthetic nomadism and post-anthropocentric artistic strategies. His work is presented as a unique synthesis of form and meaning that challenges traditional interpretative frameworks.
The practical significance of the article lies in its contribution to the expansion of interdisciplinary discourse in contemporary art studies. The results may be of use for curators, art historians, and cultural researchers interested in postmedia art, performative practices, and the transformation of aesthetic paradigms. Vaida’s approach can serve as a model for analyzing innovative artistic strategies within the broader field of cultural theory and art science.
