Archiving and Long-term Preservation Policy of the Scientific Journal "Ukrainian Culture: Past, Present, and Ways of Development"

The scientific journal "Ukrainian Culture: Past, Present, and Ways of Development" implements a multi-level digital preservation strategy that guarantees permanent open access to publications and protects intellectual content from data loss.

1. Key Digital Platforms and Repositories:

  • OJS Publishing System: The primary collection of full-text articles, metadata, and archived issues (since 2016) is hosted on the specialized Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform at: https://zbirnyky.rshu.edu.ua/index.php/ucpmk/issue/archive.

  • Official Web Resource: The entire archive of publications (from 2018 to the present) is duplicated in open access within the archive section of the journal's website, providing an additional point of access for users.

  • State Deposition: Electronic copies of all journal issues are submitted for permanent storage to the digital repository of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine ("Scientific Periodicals of Ukraine" portal).
