The purpose of this article is to define the phenomenon of motion design as a comprehensive system of design
principles that shape visual patterns of perception amid the transformation of the modern communication environment.
The research methodology is based on a combination of comparative and systemic approaches; it employs a method of
theoretical synthesis of scholarly works on design theory and visual communication, as well as an analysis of
contemporary research in the field of digital media and cultural practices. The results of the study indicate that
contemporary visual communications operate within the digital cultural space, leading to changes in the principles of
organizing and perceiving visual information, increased integration of technological and aesthetic factors, and a
transformation of the mechanisms of communicative influence. It has been determined that motion design serves as a
tool for structuring visual messages, ensuring the dynamic organization of content and the formation of stable visual
patterns. It has been found that in the context of globalization and mass culture, motion design functions as a
mechanism for both the integration and differentiation of cultural meanings. The scientific novelty of this article lies in
its interpretation of motion design as a component of the digital cultural space, where technological, aesthetic, and
communicative mechanisms of influence converge, as well as in its clarification of the role of the concept of «digitus»
as a combination of digital tools and a symbolic gesture directing attention in the process of visual communication. The
findings confirm that motion design is an effective means of organizing modern visual communications, in which
movement is not merely a technical feature but a key factor in shaping content and communicative impact. It has been
established that the dynamic nature of motion design not only ensures the structural organization of information but also
enhances its perceptual expressiveness and emotional-communicative potential.
