Abstract

The role of the Jagiellonian heritage in shaping political and cultural processes in Ukraine and Poland is
examined; its influence on intercultural interaction, the formation of national identity, and contemporary European
sociocultural transformations is outlined. The Jagiellonian heritage is revealed as an example of historically established
cooperation among peoples, based on the principles of mutual respect and cultural dialogue. Special attention is paid to
the appeal to the Jagiellonian tradition in contemporary scholarly discourse, which demonstrates its relevance for
understanding the issues of European integration and cultural diversity.
