RESEARCH ON THE SPECIFICS OF ORGANIZING EVENTS IN THE RIVNE REGION
Abstract
The aim of this article is to analyze the unique characteristics and challenges associated with the organization of events in the Rivne region. By studying the specifics of organizing events in this area, the study aims to solve the problem of the lack of comprehensive research on this topic with an emphasis on increasing community involvement, promoting tourism and strengthening the local economy.
Research methodology includes a review of professional literature on the topics of socio-cultural activities, analysis of case studies and socio-cultural events in the Rivne region, quantitative analysis of data and comparative analysis. Thanks to these approaches, the study provides a comprehensive understanding of the prospects and problems
of organizing events in the Rivne region.
Results. The study refers to the lack of comprehensive research on the organization of events in the Rivne region, despite its significant role in the local economy, culture and tourism. The relevance is due to the growing demand for event management services, coupled with the lack of detailed research on the unique characteristics and challenges of the region. The article outlines the socio-economic factors influencing the event industry of the region, identifies social and cultural elements as key attractions. The author reveals economic potential, but highlights issues such as infrastructural constraints, insufficient marketing, and government support. The author of the study emphasizes the need to address these challenges to unlock the full potential of the event industry in the Rivne region, revealing the cultural wealth of the region, proposing strategies for sustainable growth and highlighting successful international and national festivals as examples of the cultural potential of the region.
The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive study of the organization of events in the Rivne region, filling the gap in existing research. While events play a crucial role in the local economy, culture, and tourism, there is a lack of in-depth analysis specific to this region. The study offers a fresh perspective, bridging this gap by providing information on the prospects, challenges, and opportunities associated with organizing events in the Rivne region.
