CONTRIBUTION OF THE STUDENTS OF PROFESSOR LIYUSHENG'S CLASS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SIXHUAN SAXOPHONE SCHOOL

Abstract

The relevance of the study is to single out among the large number of the most outstanding students of Li Yusheng's class and to systematize the areas of work and the most significant achievements of each of them. Lun Yu devoted himself exclusively to pedagogical work. Most of Li Yusheng's students, following his example, combine several aspects of activity at the same time. Liu Yihua, Fu Qiang, Wan Junrang, Zhen Qang successfully combine teaching and performing work. Yi Ljan, Mei Song and YiJiayi became the best in the pedagogical, performing and scientific spheres, and the last of them (Yi Jiayi) has been very successful in composing and, in addition, has already introduced a large class of its graduates who are considered unsurpassed virtuoso performers .
Researchmethodology is based on a combination of the following research methods: source science (which allows to attract found materials for research), music science (to analyze the most significant aspects of the work of Chinese saxophonists) and systematization (when determining the factors of systematization of their areas of activity).

Theresults are to prove the importance of Li Yusheng's contribution to the development of the Sichuan saxophone school; in proving the continuation of its traditions in the work of graduates of the saxophone class in the fields of pedagogical and performing activities, as well as in the development of individual scientific competencies that had an impact on the further development of Chinese scientific thought in the field of saxophone art.
The novelty consists in presenting for the first time the achievements of the most outstanding graduates of Li Yusheng's class, which were important for the development of the Sichuan saxophone school.
Practical significance. The materials and conclusions of the article can be used for further research of the saxophone school in the modern musical space of China.
