CREATIVE ACTIVITY OF LARYSA ATAMANCHUK IN THE CONTEXT OF BANDURA PERFORMANCE OF TERNOPIL REGION
Abstract
The article considers the life and achievements of the teacher-methodologist of the «Ostrivska Music School» of Ternopil region Larysa Atamanchuk. She is a well-known bandura player, cultural and public figure, a member of the National Union of Kobzars of Ukraine. The stages of her concert-performing activity as a soloist-bandura player and ensemble player are analyzed. Emphasis is placed on practical and creative work with the exemplary bandura ensemble «Dyvo-struny».
The peculiarities of its preservation and development of bandura traditions of Ternopil region are determined. L. Atamanchuk's creative work includes audio and video recordings of solo concerts of class students and art programs with the participation of a bandura player with various groups: «Mriya», «Stritennya», «Barvy», «Dyvo-struny». The artist has made more than fifty arrangements, translations, arrangements of music for the ensemble and solo bandura. The bandura player is the compiler of music collections, works closely with educational art institutions and creative centers of Ternopil region. She prepared and published a textbook containing 29 musical compositions arranged by the author, on the subject - works of patriotic content, songs about the mother, lyrical, humorous, Christmas songs, carols, works of spiritual content. Composers of Ternopil region D. Gubyak, E. Gunko, I. Vyspinsky, R. Stratiychuk, O. Burmitsky, I. Vovchak made a significant contribution to the formation of the repertoire of the bandura-led children’s group «Dyvo-struny.
The artist has confidently established herself in the field of bandura art not only in Ternopil region, but also abroad, combining the best musical traditions of the region and modern performing trends. The sound recording activity of the ensemble «Dyvo-struny» and its leader showed a tendency to the general professionalization of bandura art of Ternopil region. L. Atamanchuk's performing activity is enshrined in many audio and video recordings, it is promoted on social networks, presented at international, national, regional music festivals and competitions.
