Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of V. Vlasov's multi-vector creativity, in particular his composing style and performing school, which became the basis for basic scientific researches and personal creative achievements of the author. The basic principles of the composer's creative method as a creator of pop-jazz music for accordion, its main style directions and the defining principles of formation of the school of jazz performance are summarized.

For the first time in Ukrainian bayan-accordion literature, the composer created cycles of children's plays using jazz stylistics. The author's creative heritage is marked by a variety of genres, including: three operas, musical comedy, works for choir, orchestra, folk instrument ensemble, bandura, domra, balalayka, jazz orchestras and ensembles, romances and songs (more than 60), music for 50 feature films and documentaries, as well as theatrical performances.

The compositional style of variety-jazz works of V. Vlasov is based on several fundamental foundations: 1. the systematic use of jazz directions in accordance with their progressive development, leading to free operation of style models; 2.strict adherence to the rhythmic structure of a particular style, which becomes the basis for the search for specific sound extraction and characteristic stroke technique; 3. the formation of bayan-accordion school as a carrier of professional musical traditions, which ensures their transfer in practice by creating an appropriate model and certain criteria for pop-jazz performance.

In addition to achievements in the field of compositional creativity, V. Vlasov addresses scientific problems of interpretation of vatiety-jazz styles in bayan and accordion art, which have not yet found proper reflection in modern musicological literature. In his publications, the composer focuses the attention of performers on the practical mastery of the harmonic, melodic and rhythmic language of a particular jazz style. Vlasov's compositional work is closely connected with the traditions of Ukrainian and world classics, which continues the line of innovative use of folk. In this direction, the composer created his own style, built on the classical basis of the harmonic and intonation language of jazz. V. Vlasov addresses the origins of original, authentic Odessa folk, complementing it with classical traditions of jazz styles, as well as modern means and techniques of bayan and accordion performance.

Thus, the promotion of variety-jazz and modern («new») music becomes one of the defining features of the Odessa accordion school, which declares significant achievements in the main aspects of professional education.
